________Annual Function Celebrated on Children's Day dated 14th Nov 2019 at DPS Kaithal______

message from the headmistress (junior wing)

I recently saw a quote that said “from tiny seeds, grow mighty trees.”  When I read it, it struck me as one of the most profound things I have ever reflected on.  Within these children we plant tiny seeds each day.  We plants seeds that we trust will help our children grow into strong adults.
In order for them to grow into strong adults they will need deep roots… roots that are sunk in the soil of self-confidence and strong values and beliefs.  Each day we must water them with hope, kindness, and love.  We must feed the plants with the nutrients of knowledge, character, and dedication.  We must care for them so they can bloom with creativity, curiosity, intelligence, citizenship, and leadership.

Swami Vivekananda once said “We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, and the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one's own feet” and we at DPS Kaithal aim to equip the students to emerge as holistic human beings who continue to grow in knowledge curiosity, courage, achievements, confidence, competence with sense of fulfilment and understanding. We believe that the task of building a new world must find support  in our school, where our young students must be educated in a new perspective, so that they can bring about a change in the dynamics of human relations  in the world outside.

It is an honour to provide our children with a multicultural, enriched learning environment at DPS Kaithal. Throughout our school we have created a climate in which our students are recognized, valued and supported. We at DPS Kaithal find ways to celebrate the potential of each child and we use our imagination, creativity and knowledge to make a difference.
I hope that we will be diligent caretakers of these little ones this year.  It is my promise that we will continue to nurture these little ones as they grow here at DPS Kaithal.  Thank you for sharing your most precious children with us this year.
